Dennis J. Harle

Dennis J. Harle, age 74, of Galena, IL, died August 7, 2023, at home. To honor Dennis’ life, a private family service is being held. The Tri-State Cremation Center is assisting the family.

Dennis was born on September 7, 1948, in Galena, IL, a son to Ambrose “Duck” and Ardith (Lloyd) Harle. He grew up with a love for life and a kind heart. Dennis honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and upon returning home began his career working in the family business, Signcraft Screenprint, Inc in Galena. Dennis devoted his working career to his family and friends there, becoming President before his retirement in the early 2000’s. In his free-time, Dennis enjoyed spending time on the river, outdoors, listening to music, and traversing the highways in one of his Thunderbirds. An avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan he will continue to watch both teams lose from beyond. Dennis also enjoyed sharing his quick-wit, sarcasm, and sense of humor with anyone who happened to be in the vicinity and his legacy of pranks will surely live on with all who knew and loved him. Dennis had a quiet demeanor and kind heart that will be missed. Thank you, Dennis, for continually making the world a better place simply with your presence and may the Lord bless and keep you until we all meet again.
