You were not must my brother’s partner but my brother. Words can not express what I am feeling or how lost I am without you. You helped me see so many things in a different light and i will forever be grateful. I will miss your smiling(rarely) face, sick sense of humor, the use of your favorite, and most of all our morning talks over smokes and coffee. I love you brother!!!

I got to know Jim while I was working in Savanna in the 80’s and we shared a love for animals. I came to find him a quiet but kind and compassionate person in his own way.
I’m so sorry to hear of his battle but he was a courageous man who deserved better but I’m sure his reward in heaven will be great.

Or your Twisted Sister look cruisin that old blue Fairmont. What about shaving your head that time when we did, lol. The time when you came to Spfld. And so many many more. I am so sorry time got away from us. I wish I could take it back…

I hadn’t seen Jim since high school; however, he was a kind soul and I appreciated his friendship during school. Rest in peace, Jim.

Oh Gossy, my heart breaks that you have gone. I’m so privileged to have known you. You were an antagonistic bugger, so funny and big hearted. I fondly remember the many laugh a minute verbal slouches, you constantly asking my hetero bear to get his kit off for you, that was until you met Rich Turner of course! And what joy you felt when you did meet Rich. We could feel it all the way to Australia. What a mellowing affect he had on you (thank you Rich😁).

The love you had for your furbabies was always a joy to watch and something we shared together. That love was always extended to you mates as well. But most of all to the love of your life; and rightly so, you scored yourself a real diamond there. You had such a fighting spirit – like that wouldn’t have been the case! You often did it tough in many areas of your life but always came out swinging. I admired that about you.

Yes, F@#$ CANCER! F@#$ it sideways and in every way possible.

Thank you Rich and your extended family both by blood and by love.

Rest well mate, you’ll need it after the fight you gave that insidious disease. You fought well. Goodbye sweet man and one day I’ll meet you on the other side. Looking forward to a hug. ❤️

My dearest Gossy, I can’t articulate how devastated I am to hear of your passing. You were funny, a fighter, compassionate, didn’t care about what people though of you, considerate, honest, loved dogs, warm, stood up for what you believed in, fiercely loyal, intelligent and a beautiful soul. Even though I know you’re never truly gone, the hole in my heart where you resided is gushing tears. I know that hole will heal one day and you’ll be there until it’s my time to cross over and give you a colossal bear hug. When I learned of your passing, I found myself unable to move and my stomach sank like the Titanic but then all the memories came flooding back and I found my tears were interspersed with laughter. I’ll cherish those memories and when I’m less grief stricken, I’ll begin to share them. I’m going to miss you so very much. Here’s a song we used to rock out to and I hope you crossed over screaming it at the world that so cruel to you (Get the f@#$ out!)
Except for Rich of course, I thank the multiverse for every second he was in your life. I’m proud to call you a dearest friend and until we meet again, know that I’ll always love you and I’ll be there for Rich too. Goodbye Bruv 💔😭

There just are no words to express or convey the huge emptiness here on earth without Jim’s presence. Sending our love, sympathy & prayers Tracy & David.

  11. Liz Little says:

James and I became friends on social media beginning with MySpace. Although we’d never met, we became good friends and he held a special place in my heart. My biggest regret is that I thought there’d be enough time to meet Jim and Rich. Jim shared his love of music and dogs to everyone! I love you Jim, and I’ll miss you so much. Give Dave big cuddles now that you too are together again.
