Michael D. “Mike” White, age 75, of Galena, Illinois, completed his earthly journey on October 21, 2021, at Dubuque Specialty Care. To honor Mike’s life, a private family service is being held. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Mike’s family.
Mike was born on June 24, 1946, in Buffalo, New York, a son to Raymond and Francis White. Mike graduated from Greensburg High School in 1967 and went on to honorably serve his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked with Wal-Mart for many years in Greensburg, IN, and eventually in Bradenton, FL, as well. In his spare time, Mike would work his magic at the craft table and has created countless keepsakes throughout the years. We are beyond heart-broken at the realization that Mike has now left us behind, but we pray that the Lord’s loving arms will hold him safely and securely until we meet again.
Those left behind to cherish the memory of Mike include,
Robert “Bobby” White, Greensburg, IN;
his lifelong and dear friend,
Georgia Cornett, Greensburg, IN;
along with many extended family, friends, and neighbors.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; and his best friend, Thomas McGriff.
Mike’s family and friends would like to thank the staff at Tri-State Dialysis, especially Brenda, along with the nurses and staff at Dubuque Specialty Care, and Hospice of Dubuque for all of their professional and compassionate care.
