Bruce G. Clark, age 73, of Platteville, WI, completed his earthly journey on October 2, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Bruce’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bruce’s family.

Joyce E. Vallet, age 82, of Dubuque, IA, floated peacefully into the ether on September 24, 2025, at Mercy Hospital. She was surrounded by the love of her family and friends, her husband and children whispering their love and gratitude to her as she transitioned. No services will be held. Dean G. Heacock, age 71, of Durango, IA, completed his earthly journey on September 19, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Dean’s life, his Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Meadows Golf Club, 15766 Clover Lane in Asbury.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Ed McCarthy officiating.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Dean’s family.

Donald P. Wedig, age 94, of Mineral Point, WI, went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2025. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Cedar Rock Cowboy Church, 1200 Betty Lane, Mineral Point, WI. Memorial service will immediately follow the visitation. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of life fellowship after the service.

Catherine M. “Cathy” Novak, age 69, of Dyersville, IA, completed her earthly journey on September 17, 2025, at the Dyersville Senior Care Center.  To honor Cathy’s life, a private family graveside service will be held at the Rosehill Cemetery in Pender, NE.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Cathy’s family.

Dana J. (Frost) Conroy, age 53, of Dubuque, IA, passed peacefully on September 12, 2025, at Mercy Hospital while surrounded by those that love her most.  To honor Dana, her Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00-4:00 p.m., on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, at Stone Cliff Winery, 600 Star Brewery Drive in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is supporting Dana’s family.

Lydia O. Wulf, age 67, of Woodman WI, completed her earthly journey on September 6, 2025, at Edenbrook Care Center in Platteville, WI, with her loving family by her side.  To honor Lydia’s life, a memorial service and potluck will be held at 4:30 p.m., on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Cornerstone Assembly of God, 2108 11th Street in Dewitt, IA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Lydia’s family.

Nancy E. Sochowicz, age 83, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on September 7, 2025, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Nancy’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Nancy’s family.

Robert E. “Bob” Valentine, age 92, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on September 7, 2025, at Bethany Home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Bob’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Immaculate Conception Church, 3685 County HHH in Kieler, WI.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bob’s family.

Anne E. Prisk, age 84, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of Madison, WI, completed her earthly journey on August 21, 2025, at Dubuque Specialty Care. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Heartland Church, 800 Wilburn Road, Sun Prairie, WI, 53590.

Sheryl A. Clemen (Frommelt-Huber), age 78, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on August 22, 2025, at home.  To honor Sheryl’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00-1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Neumann’s Bar and Grill, 927 Main Street in Holy Cross, IA.  A private family graveside burial will be held at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Sheryl’s family.

Elizabeth “Libba” Elmore Rhoad, age 73, died on September 2, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.  At the end, she was in Asbury, Iowa and with her beloved only son, Elliott Rhoad, her daughter-in-law, Laurie Coffel Rhoad, and her grandchildren, Aiden and Millie.  A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 403 Park Road, Lexington, SC.   

Linda K. Davis, age 75, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey suddenly on September 1, 2025, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Linda’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Tri-State Community Church, 12937 Derby Grange Road in Dubuque.  A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack Redmond officiating.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Linda’s family.

Gary J. Lewis, age 76, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on August 29, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Gary’s life, a private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Mike Ellis officiating.  Full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Gary’s family.

Joyce Mezzano passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 97, surrounded by love at the Ennoble Nursing Home. A private burial service will take place at a later date. 

Clifford P. “Cliff” Green, age 70, of Dubuque, IA, passed away on August 24, 2025, at Luther Manor Grand Meadows while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Clifford’s life, a private graveside family service will be held at the Asbury Cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Clifford’s family.

Our beautiful Mom, Lori Jean Kirschbaum (Ficken), 65, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 3:05 a.m. at Dubuque Specialty Care Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

John R. “Jack” Tegeler, age 82, of Dubuque, IA, passed peacefully into the arms of his beloved Jesus Christ on August 22, 2025, at Stonehill Care Center with his loving wife, Nancy and step-daughter, Sharlyn Waterman by his side.  To honor Jack’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2215 Windsor Avenue, with Rev. Raymond Burkle officiating.  Family and friends of Jack’s are invited to join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jack’s family.
