Margaret M. “Maggi” Steffen

Margaret M. “Maggi” Steffen, age 73, of Manchester, Iowa, completed her earthly journey on July 3, 2020, at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a recent diagnosis with aggressive brain cancer.  To honor Maggi’s life, a private family memorial mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester.  Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery in Manchester.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Maggi’s family.

Robert P. “Bob” Buechele

Robert P. “Bob” Buechele, age 83, of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey on July 1, 2020, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Thomas J. “Tom” Schiesl

Thomas James Schiesl, 60, of Dubuque, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 following a brief battle with cancer. In honor of Tom’s wishes, there will be no public wake or funeral service.

Patrick E. “Chubbs” Fishnick, Sr.

Patrick E. “Chubbs” Fishnick, Sr., age 71 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey on June 5, 2020, at home, surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Pat’s life, a Celebration of Life for Pat will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the American Legion Hall, 1306 Delhi Street in Dubuque, where military honors will be accorded.  Burial will be in the Dubuque Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Pat’s family.

Theodore J. “Ted” Meyer

Theodore J. “Ted” Meyer, age 63 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his journey on earth May 25, 2020, at home, surrounded by his loving family. To honor Ted’s life, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ted’s family.

Kathleen F. “Kathy” Heim

Kathleen F. “Kathy” Heim, age 67 of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2020, after battling light chain myeloma and amyloid heart disease. Kathy was joyful and thankful to be able to spend her final few days at home with family and friends. To honor Kathy, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Steeple Square, 101 E. 15th Street in Dubuque.  Her memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Matt Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Kathy’s family.

Robert J. “Bob” Thillman

Robert J. “Bob” Thillman, age 89 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey on May 18, 2020, at MercyOne Medical Center in Dubuque.  To honor Bob’s life, a Celebration of Life and reception for his family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Bob’s granddaughter Melanie’s home, 2341 Maplewood Drive in Asbury.  Bob’s committal service will be held at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque on Friday, July 25, 2020, at 2:00 p.m.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bob’s family.

Tracy L. Less

Tracy L. Less, age 51 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed her earthly journey on May 19, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  To honor Tracy’s life, a private family service is being held, with a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tracy’s family.

Samuel J. “Sam” Parkin

Samuel J. “Sam” Parkin, age 64 of Peosta, Iowa, completed his earthly journey on May 1, 2020 at UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.  To honor Sam’s life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Cathedral of St. Raphael Church, 231 Bluff Street in Dubuque, with Rev. Msgr. Thomas E. Toale officiating at a date to be determined.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Sam’s family.

Thomas G. “Tom” Dicklin

Thomas G. “Tom” Dicklin, age 78 of Galena, Illinois, completed his earthly journey on April 23, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.  To honor Tom’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tom’s family.

Jeffrey R. “Shoes” Hayes

Jeffrey R. “Jeff,” “Shoes” Hayes, age 65 of Kieler, Wisconsin, completed his earthly journey on April 19, 2020, at home.  To honor Jeff’s life, a private family service is being held, with a Celebration of Life being scheduled for a later date.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque, Iowa.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jeff’s family.

Robert R. “Bob” Fangman, age 62 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey on April 11, 2020 at UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital in Dubuque.  To honor Bob’s life, a private family service is being held. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bob’s family.

James F. “Jim” Arthofer

James F. “Jim” Arthofer, age 84 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey on April 10, 2020, at home, surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Jim’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jim’s family.

Jean R. Schwendinger

Jean R. Schwendinger, age 79 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed her earthly journey on April 2, 2020 at ManorCare Health Services in Dubuque.  To honor Jean’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jean’s family.

Liam J. Ziegenfuss

Liam J. Ziegenfuss was born on July 30, 2018 at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, and departed peacefully on March 28, 2020, at home in the loving arms of his mother.

Linda Jo Cook

Linda J. Cook, age 72 of Galena, Illinois, completed her earthly journey on March 27, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Linda’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Linda’s family.

Timothy A. “Tim” Ganahl

Timothy A. “Tim” Ganahl, age 64 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey suddenly on March 21, 2020, at the MercyOne Medical Center in Dubuque.  To honor Tim’s life, a Celebration of Life is being held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tim’s family.

Michael J. “Mick” Finn

Michael J. “Mick” Finn, age 79 of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey on March 27, 2020 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City, Iowa.  To honor Mick’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Mick’s family.

Thomas E. “Tom” Kerkenbush

Thomas E. “Tom” Kerkenbush, age 66, of Platteville, WI, died on March 20, 2020, comfortably at home from complications of liver cancer. To honor Tom’s life, there will be no visitation or services at this time.  A picnic will be held at the farm later this summer to celebrate his life.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tom’s family.

Beverly A. “Bev” Isaacson

Beverly A. Isaacson, of Kieler, Wisconsin, completed her earthly journey on March 16, 2020, at home, surrounded by her loving family.  To celebrate Bev’s life, a private family celebration will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bev’s family.
