Randall J. “Randy” Vaske, age 70, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on July 19, 2024, at Ennoble Manor in Dubuque.  To honor Randy’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Randy’s family.

Edward A. “Ed” Krasnodemski, 48, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. A celebration honoring Ed’s life will be held at a later date. In accordance with his wishes, Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ed’s family.

Dr. Jeffrey A. Mazzanti, age 73, of  Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on July 12, 2024, at MercyOne in Dubuque.  To honor Jeffrey’s life, a private family graveside service will be held at the Resurrection Church Cemetery in Asbury, IA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jeffrey’s family.

Liam Wayne Kenniker, age 10, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on July 12, 2024, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Liam’s life, a private family Celebration of Life is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Liam’s family.

Michael J. Lorento, age 67, of Galena, IL, completed his earthly journey on July 7, 2024, at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. To honor Michael’s life, a memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Lord of Love Lutheran Church, 219 Summit Street in Galena, with Pastor Robin Luckey officiating. Family and friends of Michael’s are invited to join in fellowship from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Michael’s family.

Mary E. Engling, age 83, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on June 28, 2024, at home, while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Mary’s life, a Mass in Mary’s name will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Mary’s family.

Timothy M. “Tim” Mauer, age 84, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on June 28, 2024, at Dubuque Specialty Care.  To honor Tim’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, July 5, 2024, at St. Joseph Key West, 10204 Key West Drive in Dubuque, with Msgr. Thomas Toale officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tim’s family.

Donald J. “Don” Brekke, age 87, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on June 24, 2024, at Hawkeye Care Center in Asbury, IA.  To honor Don’s life, a private family service is being held at Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Don’s family.

William J. Duehr, Jr., age 84, of Dubuque, left his earthly home, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, June 20, at the home of his daughter.

Dennis Maurice “Denny” Germain, age 76, of Granada Hills, CA, formerly of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on June 14, 2024, at Ageless Pride in Chatsworth, CA.  To honor Denny’s life, a private family service is being held.

Phillip “Phil” Bammesberger, age 63, of East Dubuque, IL, completed his earthly journey on June 9, 2024, at home.  To honor Phil’s life, a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Phil’s family.

Doris “Jeanne” Spoerl, age 71, of Sherrill, IA, completed her earthly journey on June 8, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital, while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Jeanne’s life, her memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 5350 Sherrill Road, with Rev. Jesse Cearlock and Rev. Larry Langer officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday, and from 3:00-7:00 p.m., on Friday, June 21, 2024, at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Sherrill.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jeanne’s family.

Karolyn Kay Riggins, age 79, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of Marshalltown, IA, completed her earthly journey on May 30, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque.  To honor Karolyn’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Karolyn’s family.

William E. “Billy” Spiegel, age 81, of Epworth, IA, completed his earthly journey on June 3, 2024, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Billy’s life, please join us for his Celebration of Life at Locals Bar and Coffee Shop, 107 West Main Street in Epworth, on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 1-5 pm. Fabian F. Barry, age 59, of Dubuque, IA, was greeted by his heavenly family on May 25, 2024. Mervin R. Theill, age 92, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of Menominee, IL, completed his earthly journey on May 11, 2024, at Stonehill Care Center, while surrounded by his loving family. To honor Mervin’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Nativity BVM Catholic Church, 15406 West Creek Valley Road in Menominee with Rev. Dennis Vargas officiating. Family and friends of Mervin are invited to join in fellowship at the church prior to the services from 9:30-12:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Nativity BVM Church Cemetery.
