Jerry Bausman, age 92, of Elizabeth, IL, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. He was married to Annette, his wife of 71 years, until she passed away in 2022. He was born in Stockton, IL, to Orville and Thelma

Millard R. “Jesse” Engelkins, age 71, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on April 10, 2024, at Stonehill Care Center with his loving family by his side.  To honor Jesse’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 2001 St. Joseph Street, with Very Rev. Daniel Dellaert officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dubuque, where full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jesse’s family.

Pastor Sue Ann Cubbage, age 77, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on April 9, 2024, at home while surrounded by her loving friends.  To honor Sue’s life, complete arrangements are pending at the Center Grove Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the Center Grove Methodist Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Sue’s family.

Benjamin M. “Ben” Duggan, age 24, of Maquoketa, IA, formerly of Dubuque, completed his earthly journey suddenly on March 31, 2024, at home.  To honor Ben’s life, a Remembrance Gathering for family and friends will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the American Legion Hall, 1306 Delhi Street in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ben’s family.

As per Mark’s request a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with family, friends, and of course music. 

Ronald K. “Ron” Blackburn, age 64, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on April 2, 2024, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Ron’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ron’s family.

Bruce R. Howes, age 70, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on April 2, 2024, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Bruce’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, April 8, 2024, at St. Raphael’s Cathedral, 231 Bluff Street, with Rev. Dennis Quint and Rev. Daniel Knepper officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Dubuque Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bruce’s family.

Gerald A. “Jerry” Riniker, age 83, of Durango, IA, completed his earthly journey on March 31, 2024, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  Per Jerry’s wish, there will be no public service.  However, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jerry’s family.

Joyce A. Leubka, age 69, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 25, 2024.  To honor Joyce’s life, a private family service will be held at a later date..  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Joyce’s family.

Norman Thomas Duve, 85, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Hawkeye Care Facility after complications following a surgery.

Tammie L. Baker, age 61, of Cedar Rapids, IA, formerly of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 25, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, after a sudden illness.  In Tammie’s final moments, she was surrounded by the love of her family and best friend.  To honor Tammie, a Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Grace Point Church, 3100 Windsor Avenue in Dubuque.  A Memorial Service including time for sharing will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Durham officiating.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tammie’s family.

Donald M. “Don” Michel, age 90, of Bellevue, IA, completed his earthly journey on March 22, 2024, at the Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Don’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 105 E. Main Street, Springbrook, IA, with Rev. Robert Gross officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Sts. Peter &Paul Church Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Bellevue American Legion.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Don’s family.

Alicia J. Metz Dressler, age 38, of Patch Grove, WI, formerly of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 21, 2024, at the University of Wisconsin Madison Hospital after complications from cancer and brain surgery.  To honor Alicia’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Alicia’s family.

Eric J. Burkholder, age 51, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on  March 17, 2024, at home while surrounded by his loving family and friends.  To honor Eric’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Eric’s family.

Karla K. Schramm, age 67, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 15, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Karla’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Karla’s family.

Robin G. Groom, age 61, of Dickeyville, WI, completed his earthly journey on March 14, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Robin’s life, his Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at P.J.’s Pub and Hall, 3670 County HHH in Kieler, WI.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Robin’s family.
