Mary Jane Wunder

Mary Jane Wunder, age 79, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on February 27, 2026, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Mary Jane’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, March 6, 2026, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1425 Iowa Street, with Rev. Dennis Quint officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Mary Jane’s family.

John Leo Kelley

John Leo Kelley, age 78, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly on February 25, 2026.  To honor John’s life, a private family burial will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving John’s family.

Lawrence E. “Larry” Walter

Lawrence E. “Larry” Walter, age 87, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on February 25, 2026, at MercyOne while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Larry’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Church of the Resurrection, 4300 Asbury Road in Dubuque, with Rev. Phil Gibbs officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Larry’s family.

Arlyn Weber

Arlyn R. Weber of Potosi, WI passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Sienna Crest, in Mineral Point, WI, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. According to his wishes, there will be no formal services and a private internment of his ashes will be held at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Depot at the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium on March 6, 2026, from 5 to 7 PM. It has been suggested that mourners wear bike shorts in memory of Arlyn, something that he would have found totally hilarious. (With the caveat that Spandex is a privilege and not a right, which he routinely abused.)

Donald H. “Donnie” Klostermann

Donald H. “Donnie” Klostermann, age 82, of Dyersville, IA, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on February 16, 2026, at MercyOne Senior Care. All who knew and loved Donnie are invited to join his family from 2:00-4:00 p.m., on Sunday February 22, 2026, at the Field of Dreams Barn Event Center, 28995 Lansing Road in Dyersville.  A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier, 104 3rd Street SW in Dyersville, and burial will follow in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, where full military honors will be accorded by the Dyersville American Legion Post #137. 

Patricia J. “Patt” Vandi

Patricia J. “Patt” Vandi, age 76, of Peosta, IA, formerly of Ft. Dodge, IA, completed her earthly journey on February 12, 2026, at AHVA Living East Dubuque while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Patt’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Ft. Dodge, IA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Patt’s family.

John W. “Curly” White

John W. “Curly” White, age 95, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on February 7, 2026, at home while surrounded by his loving family. In keeping with John’s wishes, his body was donated to scientific research at the University of Iowa. To honor John’s life, when his ashes are returned next year, a memorial mass will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum in Dubuque, IA. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving John’s family.

Julie A. Guglielmotto

Julie A Guglielmotto, age 65, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey suddenly on February 14, 2026.  To honor Julie life, a private family Celebration of Life is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Julie’s family.

Roxann M. Tsacudakis

Roxann M. Tsacudakis, age 72, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on February 12, 2026, at Stonehill Care Center while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Roxann’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday,. February 16, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2215 Windsor Avenue, with Rev. Raymond Burkle officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery in Potosi, WI, at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Roxann’s family.

Howard A. Riedel

Howard A. Riedel, age 79, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on February 9, 2026, at Ennoble Manor.  To honor Howard’s life, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1755 Delhi Street, with Pastor Libby Rutherford officiating.  Full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League following the service at the church.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Howard’s family.

Linda Krabacher-Bennett (Pfiffner)

Linda Krabacher-Bennett (Pfiffner), age 75, of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully at home with her son by her side in the early morning hours of February 8th, 2026, after a long battle with COPD. At Linda’s request there will be no visitation or funeral services. A small celebration of life will be planned for family and close friends in the near future.

Arlene M. “Butch” McGinnis

Arlene M. “Butch” McGinnis, age 98, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on January 29, 2026, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Arlene’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 2921 Central Avenue in Dubuque, with Rev. Raymond Burkle officiating.  Arlene’s Celebration of Life will be held following the service at the church from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Culbie’s Event Center, 90 Sinsinawa Avenue in East Dubuque, IL. where family and friends are invited to join in food and fellowship.  Burial will be in the Linwood Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Arlene’s family.

Donald F. “Don” Gabriel

Donald F. “Don” Gabriel, 67, of Dubuque, IA, passed away at home on February 6, 2026, surrounded by his family. A private Celebration of Life will be held in his honor.

Dawn L. Jackson

Dawn L. Jackson, age 66, of East Dubuque, Illinois, passed away on February 3rd, 2026, at Luther Manor in Dubuque, IA, following a courageous battle with cancer.  To honor Dawn’s life a private family service will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Dawn’s family.

Patrick W. “Guzz” Powers

Patrick W. “Guzz” Powers, age 70, of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was born on June 10, 1955, in Dubuque, IA, to Eldon J. and Maxine  F. (Timmerman) Powers. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Dubuque Eagles Club, 1175 Century Drive from 12:00-5:00 p.m. 

Kelly Alissa Liddle

Kelly Alissa (Bruse) Liddle, 53, of Dubuque passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan 26, 2026. She spent her final day on earth surrounded by loved ones and entered eternal rest with her husband at her side. Services will be held Saturday, January 31st, 2026, at Summit Congregational United Church of Christ (2885 John F. Kennedy Rd., Dubuque). Visitation begins at 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM and a dinner afterward.

Stanley E. Matuszewski

Stanley E. Matuszewski, age 73, of Dickeyville, WI, formerly of Chicago, IL, completed his earthly journey on January 22, 2026, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Stanley’s life, a private family service is being held. 

Rev. Kenneth A. Halstead

Reverend Kenneth Alan Halstead was born on April 9, 1950, on Easter Sunday.  His birthday never fell on Easter again until 2025. God had a plan for him from the beginning. His vocational mission was to share the gospel joyfully, empathically, creatively, and courageously so others might believe and mature in living fruitful lives in God’s grace. Services will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 11:00 am at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 255 W. 10th Street, and will also be available by live stream. A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow.

Charlene M. “Charlie” Esser

Charlene M. “Charlie” Esser, age 75, of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully at Harmony of Dubuque on January 19, 2026.  To honor Charlene’s life, a private family service will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Charlene’s family.   

Gerald J. “Jerry” Stumpf

Gerald J. “Jerry” Stumpf, age 83, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on January 18, 2026, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Jerry’s life, a private family Celebration of Life is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jerry’s family.
