Sandra L. Henry, age 85, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on December 25, 2023, while at home surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Sandra’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 2921 Central Avenue in Dubuque, with Father Steve Garner officiating.  Family and friends of Sandra’s are invited to join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Texas at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Sandra’s family.

Kathryn J. Moyer, age 73, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on December 20, 2023, at Dubuque Specialty Care.  To honor Kathryn’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Kathryn’s family.

Donna M. Trevarthen, age 71, of Elizabeth, IL, completed her earthly journey on December 12, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  To honor Donna’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Donna’s family.

John E. Adelmann, Jr., age 73, of Dubuque, IA, went home on December 12, 2023, to be with his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  To honor John’s life, a private family burial will be held in the Savanna Township Cemetery in Savanna, Illinois.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving John’s family.

Kennard L. Davids, age 71, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on December 11, 2023, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Kennard’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Kennard’s family.

Dennis N. “Denny” Meyerhofer, age 78, of Elizabeth, IL, completed his earthly journey on November 30, 2023, at the Galena Stauss Care Center while surrounded by his loving family. To honor Denny’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held on March 2, 2024, with details to be announced at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Denny’s family.

Hugh J. Dalton, 85, of Dubuque, IA, was welcomed home by our Lord and Savior on November 28th, 2023. He spent his final days at MercyOne Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. To honor Hugh’s life, a visitation will be held for family and friends at 9:30 a.m. on December 11th, 2023, followed by a memorial mass at 10:30 a.m., all at St. Joe’s Key West (10204 Key West Drive) in Dubuque, with Msgr. Thomas Toale officiating. Burial will be held immediately after mass in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, where full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League. Frank J. Heraver, age 96, of Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Waukegan, IL, completed his earthly journey on November 19, 2023, at the Luther Manor Grand Meadows in Asbury, IA.  To honor Frank’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Frank’s family.

Mary K. Finn, age 91, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on November 24, 2023, at ManorCare in Dubuque.  To honor Mary’s life, a private family burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Mary’s family.

Cory M. Frommelt, age 54, of Hazel Green, WI, completed his earthly journey suddenly on November 19, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, IA.  To honor Cory’s life, a private family Celebration of Life is being held in conjunction with his father, Roger’s service who was also sadly called home suddenly just ahead of Cory only six days earlier.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Cory’s family.

Roger M. Frommelt, age 85, of Hazel Green, WI, completed his earthly journey suddenly on Monday, November 13, 2023, at home. To honor Roger’s life, his Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The Reverend Linda Axelson Packard of Galena, IL, died on November 10, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Grace Episcopal Church, 107 S. Prospect Street, Galena, IL.  The Rev. Dr. Paula Harris and The Right Rev. Alice Kay Laaker, age 84, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on October 31, 2023, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Alice’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Dockside Bar and Grille, 22500 Golf Lake Road in Mud Lake.  Alice’s family requests that family and friends wear their pink attire proudly in honor of Alice.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Alice’s family.

Kraus, age 80, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of Ramona, CA, completed her earthly journey on October 21, 2023, at Sunset Park Place in Dubuque while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Kathleen’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date with burial to follow in the Nuevo Gardens Cemetery in Ramona, CA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Kathleen’s family.

Jannell M. Borgstahl, age 59, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on October 18, 2023, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Jannell’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jannell’s family.

Marilyn Lillian Langas, age 85, of Hawkeye Care Center in Dubuque, IA, was blessed to be called to her Heavenly Father on October 17, 2023, and to be reunited with her husband, George, and their daughter, Jacqueline “Jackie”, whom recently passed away. In honor of Marilyn’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Church of the Nativity, 1225 Alta Vista Street in Dubuque, with Rev. Andy Upah officiating.  Family and friends are invited to visit and fellowship from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
