Jack A. Lucas

Jack A. Lucas, age 66, of Port Orchard, WA, formerly of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on January 25, 2024.  In keeping with Jack’s wishes, there will be no public services.

 

Jack was born on August 27, 1957, in Dubuque, IA, a son to John P. and Joan E. (Leibfried) Lucas.  He honorably served his country with the U.S. Navy and upon retirement enjoyed spending his time surrounded by family and friends.  We will miss Jack dearly and pray that the Lord keeps him safe in His loving arms until we all meet again.

 

Those left behind to cherish the memory of Jack include,

his two daughters,

Tera (Josh) Hasbrook and Keri (James) Thompson;

 

his 4 grandchildren,

Alee, Emery, Sutton, and Kaden;

 

his mother and step-father,

Joan (Bob) Valentine;

 

his siblings,

Joyce Lucas, Judy (Tom) Leibfried, Jane (Tim) Temperly, Janice (Joe) DeMuth, Jean (Bill) Chaffee, JoAnn (Greg) Timmerman, Jim Lucas, and Jeri (Charlie) Inman;

 

his step-sisters,

Lynn (Tony Kamp) Lang and Pat (Mike) Valentine;

 

along with numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Jack was preceded in death by his father, John Lucas; his grandparents, Marie Lucas and George (Stella) Leibfried; his step-brother, Mike Valentine; and his nephew, Brian Chaffee.
