Jannell M. Borgstahl

Jannell M. Borgstahl, age 59, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on October 18, 2023, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Jannell’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jannell’s family.

Jannell was born on August 14, 1964, in Dubuque, IA, a daughter to Loretta (Weires) Paar.  She embraced life, loved her family, and even when cancer arrived in her life, Jannell stood firm and fought that battle as long as she could with the courage of a mama bear watching over her cubs.  Jannell was primarily a wonderful wife and mother, but did work outside of the home with Medline for some time.  Her generous spirit was continually on display and if anyone needed help, she was always there for them no matter what was happening in her own life.  Jannell enjoyed collecting Emmett Kelly clowns in her free-time, and was always ready with a bit of humor when the timing was right, or even a little sarcasm if it was a more appropriate considering the situation.  Either way, Jannell always left a positive imprint on the lives around her and never let the bad days get the best of her.  We will miss her more than words could ever accurately depict, but we know that she was surely tired from her earthly battles and now it is time to rest in eternal peace.  Thank you, Jannell, for being exactly who you were and may the Lord keep and hold you in His loving grace-filled arms until we all meet again.
