Kimberly Ann “Kim” Selken, age 62, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on November 9, 2022, at home while surrounded by her loving family. To honor Kim’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A private family burial will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Kim’s family.
Kim was born on October 12, 1960, in Dubuque, IA, a daughter to Ben and Mary Jane (Kremer) Markus. She proudly spent her life caring for others as a CNA throughout her working years, but truth be known, her heart was always longing to be at home with her family. Kim’s life and world revolved around her loved ones and this commitment never failed nor wavered. She was lovingly referred to as “Grandma” by her great-nieces and nephews as well, and always enjoyed attending their sporting events whenever possible. It’s difficult to imagine a world without Kim’s bright and joyful light shining amongst it, but we know that her battle was fought with great courage and strength and there is peace in knowing that peace is hers now. Thank you, Kim, for being such a loving and caring part of so many lives and may the Lord keep you in His loving arms until we meet again.
Those left behind to cherish the memory of Kim include,
