Lori Kay Johnson

Lori Kay Johnson

Lori K. Johnson, age 57, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey suddenly at home on May 13, 2026.  To honor Lori’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Lori’s family.

Lori was born on September 29, 1968, in Dubuque, IA, a daughter to Jim and Nancy (Cole) Brokus.  She was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by her family and friends whenever possible.  Those who knew her best would admit a few bingo cards in front of her would only perfect the moments, but again, family and friends were undeniably the driving force in her life.  When Lori’s Mom was called home ahead of her last fall, her heart was broken in a manner that was never truly going to be healed again until they were reunited in eternity.  Our hearts surely weigh heavy today with the sudden absence of Lori from our daily lives moving forward, but there is thankfully some peace to be found in the realization that Lori and Nancy are once again together and never to be separated again.  Thank you, Lori, for the love and light you shared with those you loved along your journey and may peace from your earthly health battles be yours now as we seek peace in our hearts and minds as well moving forward.  May the Lord bless and keep you safe in His loving arms until we all meet again.
