Rebecca L. Salazar

Rebecca L. Salazar, age 58, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on February 28, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Rebecca’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Rebecca’s family.

Rebecca was born on December 14, 1963, in Richland Center, Wisconsin.  Her parents, James and Judy (Corey) Miles instilled in Rebecca the value of family and friends.  She spent most of her working years as a CNA at various nursing homes.  Rebecca had a great gift of taking care of others and making them feel at home.  She loved time with family and friends, playing card games, dancing, and a good cocktail and laugh with the girls.  She had an amazing laugh and humble spirit.  Rebecca was a strong and beautiful mom and lil grandma.  She will be forever loved and adored in the hearts of her daughters and grandchildren.  We will treasure each and every memory until we can see her beautiful smile once again.  Thank you, Rebecca, for always staying strong and being you.  May peace be yours forever more.

I only got to meet you 2 times and it is hard to believe you are gone. I was about to see if Sara could bring me and Paige over to see you again, but when God says it is your time to come up there, that is when you say OK, lead me to the stairs and you go up there with smile.
Thinking of us down here, we all will be fine and we all miss you and love you a lot.
