Thomas J. “Tom” McGriff, age 78, of Galena, Illinois, completed his earthly journey on October 2, 2021, at home. To honor Tom’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tom’s family.

Tom was born on June 19, 1943, in South Bend, Indiana, a son to Carl J. and Florence (Thilman) McGriff.  He eventually made his way to Florida where he devoted his time and talents for many years with the Fraternal Order of Eagles.  When retirement had finally arrived, he decided it was time to make his way to Galena where he could enjoy the remainder of his years in a relaxed and comfortable environment.  We will miss Tom dearly and are beyond heartbroken at his sudden passing.  May the Lord keep him safe and at peace until we meet again.
