Ronald L. “Ron” Perry, age 91, of Dubuque, IA, was called home to the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on November 5, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Ron’s life, a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ron’s family.

Patricia A. “Pat” Udzielak, age 86, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on November 11, 2025, at Stonehill Care Center while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Pat’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Church of the Resurrection, 4300 Asbury Road in Dubuque, with Rev. Phil Gibbs officiating.  Family and friends may join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Pat’s family.

Services to be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11am, St. John CME Church, 1625 E. Main St., Richmond, MO 64085. Richmond is Ron’s hometown.  

Patsy Yoshino Oshiro Morris Swailes, 94, of Dubuque, formerly of Belle Plaine and Tama, died peacefully on November 9, at Bethany Home. A memorial service and burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to Bethany Home in Dubuque for the loving care they gave Patsy in her final years.

William L. “Bill” Hansen, age 90, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on November 5, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Bill’s life, a Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Howard Street Christian Church, 101 N. Locust St, in Colfax, IA, with Pastor Josh Burns officiating.  Burial will be in the McKeever Cemetery in Colfax, IA, where full military honors will be accorded.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bill’s family.

Donald J. “Don” Daugherty, age 76, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on October 29, 2025, at Ennoble Manor while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Don’s life, a private burial will be held at Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Don’s family.

Steven J. “Steve” Bergfeld, age 56, of Zwingle, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly on October 28, 2025, at home.  To honor Steve’s life, a private family burial will be held at the Holy Family Cemetery in Peosta, IA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Steve’s family.

Ann M. Hess, age 65, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on October 29, 2025, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Ann’s life, a private family burial will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque, IA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ann’s family.

James M. “Jim” Swenson, age 79, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on October 22, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Jim’s life, a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jim’s family.

Donald D. “Don” Cox, age 93, of Hazel Green, WI, completed his earthly journey on October 10, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  Per Don’s request, no public services will be held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Don’s family.

Sylvia A. Hitzler, age 74, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on October 9, 2025, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Sylvia’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 2921 Central Avenue in Dubuque, with Rev. Jeff Frieden officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Sylvia’s family.

Phyllis Ann Honecker, age 78, of Platteville, WI, completed her earthly journey on October 13, 2025, at UnityPoint-Finley Hospital.  Per Phyllis’ wishes, there will be no public services.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Phyllis’ family.

Mark Louis Milanich, 63, of Galena, IL, completed his earthly journey suddenly on October 9, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by beloved life partner, Renee Tibbetts, his sister Kira Milanich, nephew Elias (Eli) Milanich, many cousins and in-laws, ex-wife Gabrielle Milanich, being a continuing inspiration through his art to countless keepers of his creations from around the world. He was preceded in death by his loving mother and father, Carol (Williams) and Robert Milanich. To honor Mark’s life, a private family service will be held at a later date.

James J. “Jim” McPoland, age 57, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on October 9, 2025, at Harmony Dubuque.  To honor Jim’s life, a private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque American Legion Post #6.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jim’s family.

David Paul “Davey” Ames, Jr., age 51, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly on October 8, 2025, at home.  To honor Davey’s life, a Celebration of Life for family and friends in the Dubuque area will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Jackson Park, 1500 Main Street in Dubuque.  A Celebration of Life for family and friends in the Rockford area will be held from 12:00-3:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Rockford Verdi Club, 782 North Madison Street in Rockford, IL.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving David’s family.

Jack W. McDermott, age 69, of Galena, IL, completed his earthly journey on October 6, 2025, at the Midwest Senior Care Community.  Per Jack’s request, there will be no public services.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jack’s family.

Delores M. Perry, age 88, of Earlville, IA, formerly of Worthington, IA, completed her earthly journey on October 5, 2025, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Delores’ life, a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Delores’ family.

Bruce G. Clark, age 73, of Platteville, WI, completed his earthly journey on October 2, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Bruce’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bruce’s family.

Joyce E. Vallet, age 82, of Dubuque, IA, floated peacefully into the ether on September 24, 2025, at Mercy Hospital. She was surrounded by the love of her family and friends, her husband and children whispering their love and gratitude to her as she transitioned. No services will be held. Dean G. Heacock, age 71, of Durango, IA, completed his earthly journey on September 19, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Dean’s life, his Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Meadows Golf Club, 15766 Clover Lane in Asbury.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Ed McCarthy officiating.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Dean’s family.
