Gay Nell Kammerude, age 80, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on Feb. 13, 2023, at ManorCare. To honor Nell’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, from 4:00–7:00 p.m., at the Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery, 2736 Windsor Avenue, in Dubuque. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill, AL. The Tri- State Cremation Center is humbly serving Nell’s family.

Daniel Charles “Dan” Montelius, age 46, of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey suddenly on February 8, 2023, at home.  To honor Dan’s life, a private family service will be held.  Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Dan’s family.

Konrad Werner Voigt was born in July of 1951 to Adeline and Werner Voigt.  He passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 71, while residing at Stonehill Communities Memory Care.  To honor Konrad’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Konrad’s family.

Maria Elena Guerrero (Beltran), age 82, of Dubuque, IA, died peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Oak Park Place, with her loving family members by her side.  To honor Maria’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Grand River Center, 500 Bell Street, in Dubuque, in the Third Floor, River Room.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1425 Iowa Street, in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Maria’s family. 

Thomas A. “Tom” Welu, age 85, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on February 1, 2023, at Luther Manor.  To honor Tom’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tom’s family.

Robert R. Oglesby, age 72, of Dubuque, IA, passed away on January 22, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque.  In memory of Robert’s life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1425 Iowa Street, with Father Herb Pins officiating.  Family and friends are invited to visit in fellowship one hour prior to Holy Mass at St. Patrick Church.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Robert’s family.

Kent D. Klingman, age 64, of Galena, IL, formerly of Cedar Rapids, IA, completed his earthly journey on January 13, 2023, at home while surrounded by his loving friends. To honor Kent’s life, a private family service is being held. Burial will be in the Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Kent’s family.

James G. “Jim” Schreiner, age 90, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on January 10, 2023, at Stonehill Care Center.  To honor Jim’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jim’s family.

Marcia J. Smith, age 57, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of Celina, OH, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022, at Stonehill Care Center after a seven year struggle with Early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.  To honor Marcia, a private celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at a later date.

 Judith L. “Judy” Hantelmann, age 82, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey suddenly on December 14, 2022, at home.  To honor Judy’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dubuque at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Judy’s family.

Ronald A. “Ron” Pitz, age 82, of Peosta, IA, completed his life’s journey on December 27, 2022, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Ron’s life, family and friends are invited to join in food and fellowship from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at his Celebration of Life on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Thunder Hills Country Club, 16682 Thunder Hill Drive in Peosta.  A time for sharing of memories will be held at 5:30 p.m.  Burial will be at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ron’s family.

Joseph J. “Joe” Smith, age 73, of Peosta, IA, passed away suddenly on December 19, 2022, at home.  To honor Joe’s life, family and friends may gather in fellowship from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. for his memorial on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the Peosta Community Centre, 7896 Burds Road in Peosta.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Joe’s family.

Wilfred J. “Fred” Konzen, Jr, age 79, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on Nov. 29, 2022, at Stonehill Care Center.  To honor Fred’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 170 Montgomery Ave, in East Dubuque, IL, with Father Peter Snieg officiating.  Per Fred’s request, there will be no public visitation prior to Mass.  Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Fred’s family.

Bobbie Lee Brady, age 78, of Potosi, WI, completed his earthly journey on Nov. 27, 2022, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Bobbie’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bobbie’s family.

Jill Juliann Kiebler passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022. She was surrounded by her family and her friends. She was 65 years old.
